Is Internet shopping safe?
Internet shopping is safer than using a credit card over the phone. Today's encryption technology scrambles the transmission of your personal information as it moves from your computer to its distination. We also pride ourselves on selecting only reputable merchants to participate in our program. All transactions online are done directly with the merchant and yourself. Be sure to read any website's privacy and security statemant before you give any information over the Internet.

Do I have to begin shopping from EmeraldOasis.com for me to receive my rebates?
Yes, so that we know which merchant each Emerald oasis member made purchases at. If you enter the merchant's site any other way, you will not be credited with the rebate. You must visit each merchant directly from the banner listed on Emerald Oasis.

How does Emerald Oasis keep track of and calculate the rebates?
Each of our members is assigned a unique account number, as is each merchant. emerald Oasis utilizes independent tracking providers to track each sale, by individual member, at each of our participating merchants' websites. Emerald Oasis neither collects nor retains any personal purchase infomation for the purchases made by our members. That information, including credit card info, is given directly to each merchant that the member is making a purchase from.

Who can participate?
Any individual can receive merchant rebates through the Emerald Oasis shopping program. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors, alumni and emplyees are all looking for a way to save money. Now everyone has a way to get money back on the purchases they would normally make.

What do I need?
Anyone with Internet access can participate. It's easy and safe to shop online. You can even use a friend's computer if they have access.

Does it cost more to shop at EmeraldOasis.com?
No. The products and services you find though Emerald Oasis merchants are offered at the same prices set for everybody. In fact many of our online merchants offer spectacular savings and discounts that can save you beg money each month. These specials are listed in our "Specials Section".

What does it cost join Emerald Oasis?
Emerald Oasis charges a $25.00 annual administration fee which covers the costs associated with setting up the account and managing and tracking purchases for our members.

What are the rebate amounts for the participating merchants?
The commission amount varies by merchant. The percentage ranges from 1%-30%. Occasionally a merchant will change the amount that is offered which we will update as we receive that information. Emerald Oasis always strives to negotiate rebates. We list the percentage next to the merchant and that amount represents, as a percentage of the total sale, what the member will receive as a rebate.

Will I be charged shipping and handling charges for online purchases?
Most merchants do charge shopping and handling fees. Each merchant has its own policies which you can review on the merchants website. Some merchants do offer shipping free of charge.

What is the return policy for purchases?
Each Emerald Oasis merchant has its own return and customer service policies and procedures. We receive reports of all products returned and adjust you member account accordingly. Make sure you understand the merchant's return policies before you make a purchase. If their policy is not stated clearly, you may contact them directly for details. When will I receive my rebates?
You will be issued your annual rebate check on the second Friday of November for all purchases made between November 1st of the previous year and October 31st of the current year.

Who pays my rebates to me?
Your rebate check is issued to you by Emerald Oasis from payments made by the individual merchants.
